This Sunday is the Banana Pie Festival in Copala

Mazatlan, Sinaloa .- For the third consecutive year, the community of Copala, Concordia, will be celebrating its Banana Pie Festival.

This third edition will take place on Sunday, September 22 and will start from 10:00 a.m., to end at around 4:00 p.m.

Felipe Garzón López, mayor of Concordia, stressed that the conditions of the roads leading to this destination are safe and remain optimal, he also insisted that there is no climate of insecurity in Copala, or in its surroundings.

For this year, the novelty will be the newly remodeled image of the town, where the arch of the entrance to the town was embellished and lighting was installed, which shows a colonial atmosphere, according to the municipal president.

The countries can be purchased by individual slice, at 30 pesos or whole, from 120 pesos.

Program:

The fair will open to the public from 10:00 am; An hour later the inauguration will take place, at noon a mass will be held in the Church of San José and at 1:00 pm there will be an alley with live music where legends from that land will also be told.
