Mazatlan opens, third and last park for people with disabilities

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- With an investment of more than 413 thousand pesos, the municipal DIF System and Rotary Club of Mazatlan, inaugurated the third and last inclusive park of the port, which has the purpose of integrating children with disabilities into daily activities, said Gabriela Peña Chico, director of this paramunicipal.

Who recalled that in the city, two other playgrounds for children with different capacities were also inaugurated, the first one, in May in the Martiniano Carvajal park in front of the boardwalk, and the second, in the linear park, north of the municipality.

“We seek the right of a city for all, and inclusion is the formula, we cannot be apathetic or insensitive to the situation of so many children in a situation, who have or suffer from any disability.”

This new place of recreation consists of 3 games and is located on Juan Pablo II Avenue, between Rio Grijalba Street, within another recreational area where children of all ages also visit.

In Mazatlan, there are already 3 parks, an inclusive gym and it is expected that by 2020 there will be a beach for people with disabilities and the elderly.

Remember, that from the beginning of the administration, it has been sought that the citizens respect the blue places, both ramps and parking lots, in addition to the streets and the passing of the disabled.
