The First Northwestern Tequila Show will be held in Mazatlan

MAZATLÁN.- This port will host the First Northwest Tequila Show, whose purpose is to transmit the agave culture in the region, and to publicize the products of the participating tequila companies.

The director of the exhibition, Justo Molachino Amaro, said that it will take place on September 13 and 14 at the Bauprés Gallery, which is located at Heriberto Frías street number 1506, right next to Casa Haas, in the Historic Center from this city.

In this sense, the Secretary of State Tourism, Óscar Pérez Barros, said that it is a national meeting in which important wineries of the country will be present, it is an event that gives Mazatlan an important promotion in addition to being a sample that represents one more point of tourist and cultural attraction.

At the same time, Molachino Amaro added that the program includes conferences, tastings and so on, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., both days.

Tickets are already on sale at a cost of 200 pesos presale and 250 pesos on the day of the event, in the following establishments: Angela Peralta Theater, Cava del Duero, Del Mar 602 Avenue, and Daysy, Loza and Curiosities, in the Market from Juarez.

The objective of the exhibition is to spread the culture of the agave in the region and publicize the high-quality products that are produced in Mexico so that people know more about this as part of cultural knowledge, he said.
