La Paz, Baja California Sur.- Upon obtaining four search warrants, the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic carried out operations on August 21 at different properties in the city of Cabo San Lucas, rescuing 7 women, of foreign nationality, who were victims of Human Trafficking.
In joint investigation carried out by the FGR, agents of the Intelligence Division of the Federal Police and the Second Naval Zone of the Mexican Navy (SEMAR), a criminal network that grouped women in various homes and promoted the sale of their sexual services through the internet.
The organization had an operational and technological infrastructure for the promotion of prostitution and exploitation of sex servants, even offering the services of the victims in private events on private yachts and sailboats.
Derived from the above, four searches were carried out in private homes located in different subdivisions, resulting in the arrest of five subjects, the assurance of four buildings, four vehicles and a Photography and modeling Studio.
These actions are part of the strategies implemented by the public security corporations in Baja California Sur to combat the crime of human trafficking in a frontal way.
The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic, carries out the necessary actions for the proper application of the Criminal Justice System at Federal level.
