“I do not think so, it is a matter that corresponds to our social composition, in the way we see our community, above this matter are our natural attractions, our beautiful boardwalk, our hospitality and it will be marginal, if someone decides that gay couples who want to get married in La Paz (they can attract tourism), because they can do it, but it will be very marginal, ”said the official.

It should be noted that, more than a month ago, the State Congress approved the reform of the Civil Code, giving rise to same-sex marriages, as happened in other states such as Baja California , Morelos , Nayarit , among others.

At the time, the head of the Ministry of Tourism and Economy and Sustainability (Setues), Luis Humberto Araiza López also agreed that the approval of this new Law will not be a trigger to attract tourism to Los Cabos, since those who promote the activity tourism in that place are hoteliers and service providers.
