Serial killer or Vigilante? “El Juguetero” (the Toy Man) is killing car thieves in Culiacán

The Attorney General of the State of Sinaloa announced that they are investigating a case that involves multiple murders; in which the killer leaves toy cars with their victims’ bodies.

After five homicides in Culiacán, Sinaloa, with the same modus operandi, the State Attorney General’s Office announced that the author, an alleged serial murderer nicknamed “El Juguetero” (the Toy Man), is already under investigation.

According to a statement from the Prosecutor’s Office, in the five murders toy carts were left on top of the victims’ dead bodies. Who could be a “Vigilante” that is killing car thieves in Culiacán. Apparently, the number of toys left behind represents the number of vehicles the victim had stolen.

The prosecution added that the last victim, found on Wednesday, August 7, identified himself as a car thief, and posted a video that went viral on the Internet, showing how he was stealing a red pick-up truck in Culiacan’s Fovisste Chapultepec neighborhood at broad daylight. The footage went viral on social networks. However, the deceased did not have a complaint against him before the Public Ministry.

“El Juguetero’s” modus operandi
So far, the five victims have been found face down, with signs of torture and shot to death. On their back, the murderer places toy carts.

On Sunday, August 4, they found the first victim of the alleged serial killer of Culiacán, Sinaloa. The subject’s body had 11 toy cars on top of it.

A few days later, the local police found two other bodies, both with 13 carts on top of each corpse.
