AMPI works with the municipal delegation to identify properties that can be commercialized.
The Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) in Querétaro works with the municipal delegation of the Historic Center in order to identify how they can reactivate the real estate market in the Historic Center.
The president of the association, Ivonne Gutiérrez, indicated that the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) will guide this project, to inform about the standards that must be met in the conservation of spaces.
He said that the delegation will identify the land uses of available homes and real estate agents will not market what land-use changes cannot have.
“If they tell us that some property has a use of cafeteria and apartments, that will be the only thing we are going to market,” he said.
On the other hand, said that in recent weeks has begun to reactivate the placement of housing, especially average, with a value exceeding one million pesos.
However, he lamented, the sale of economic housing is being held because there is not enough supply with prices below 600 thousand pesos.
“Hopefully, one way or another, Canadevi will take the appropriate measures – which I think is already being handled nationally, with Fovisste and other instances – to provide housing for all these people,” he said. In that line. AMPI will sign a collaboration agreement with Infonavit.
