Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- To diversify the tourist offer in the municipality, the City Council and the State Government inaugurated the Mazatlan-La Noria Tourist Circuit, as part of the celebration of the first anniversary of the La Noria Gastronomic and Artisan Tianguis, which it receives every Sunday About 3 thousand visitors on average.

The inaugural ribbon cut was headed by Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, Mónica Coppel, and Silvia Ruiz, on behalf of the Secretary of Tourism in the state, Óscar Pérez Barros; David González Torrentera, head of the Sedectur, and governors of the Government of Mazatlan, where the waves break, the city of Carnival.

In his message, the Chemist said that the Mazatlan-La Noria tourist circuit is the first of 14 that they plan to create (nine in the municipality, four in the region), which seek to revive the economy in the communities, and highlighted the sum of efforts to specify these geographical spaces.

“We are going to get to work, this cannot be done by the Government alone, nor by the people alone. We need to get on the same boat, push through Mazatlan, forget about political dyes, we are making Mazatlan the best beach tourist destination in Mexico, yes it can and we will achieve it, ”he said.

For his part, David González Torrentera mentioned that these projects are in line with the Government of Mexico, headed by Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who seek to diversify and improve the tourism offer in Mexico and, through tourism, avoid migration to Mazatlan.

After the inauguration of the tourist circuit, the Chemist toured the stands of the tianguis, where he observed some handicrafts made by the locals themselves and the rich dishes and desserts that were for sale.

Around 11:00, he launched the Integral Center for Social Development and the Basic Unit of Physical Rehabilitation of the Municipal DIF in this union.
