The Autonomous University of Sinaloa wins Latin American gold in robotics

Last Thursday they left by air, a trip that lasted almost 22 hours, time that was worth it to get a gold medal for Mexico

Mazatlan, Sinaloa. – The Autonomous University of Sinaloa Campus Mazatlan won a South American gold medal at the Robomatrix Bolivia 2019.

The UAS was the only University that represented Mexico in this Science and Technology meeting that brought together more than 140 projects from different Latin American countries.

Students Alberto Lizárraga Reyna and Clarisa López Mascareño, participated with the exhibition of a mobile application for the detection of color blindness in minors.

Lizárraga Reyna studies the fourth year of software engineering, while López Mascareño is in the second year of the degree in Biomedical Sciences.

The young students were accompanied by their advisors Juan Carlos Ojeda Alarcón and Ángel González Navarrete, who in addition to the medals obtained accreditation to contend at the Infomatrix 2020, which will be held in April in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico.
