Mazatlan.- In compliance with article 171 of the Mazatlan Sustainable Development Regulation, the City Council, through the Directorate of Ecology and Environment, announced the ‘Ecological Merit Award’, to recognize companies that are environmentally responsible.
Citizens, education, research, and small, medium and large companies may participate in it.
“This Ecological Merit Award is not an occurrence, it is part of the Mazatlan Sustainable Development Regulation, it is an obligation that we have as a Municipality, to recognize companies that are environmentally responsible,” said Lourdes Sanjuan Gallardo, head of Ecology municipal.
She added that the Government of Mazatlan, where the waves break, the city of Carnival, seeks to have the largest number of companies with an operating license, which guarantee that they carry out actions in favor of the care and preservation of the environment.
This will be the second time that this badge is delivered, so you are invited to be attentive to the call.
To be deserving of this award, the municipal official added, they will have to comply with a series of actions that contribute to the improvement of the environment.
The conference was attended by More Ledezma, President of the Mexican Association of Women Entrepreneurs, chapter Mazatlan and Regidor Adalberto Valle, Coordinator of the Commission of Urban Planning, Public Works and Ecology, who congratulated Ecology for this activity.
