Los Mochis, Sinaloa .- Ten Oxxo stores in Los Mochis, were closed because they did not have permits to operate or have health licenses, in addition to offering expired products.

The establishments were inspected and closed by the Directorate of Inspection and Regulations of Ahome, in charge of Marco Vinicio Contreras Bringas, who said that the closing of the business was due to recidivism.

He commented that the operations began last week due to citizen complaints about expired foods and irregularities with the sale of alcohol.

“Expired products were detected in the Oxxos, there were citizens who denounced the issue, concerned about the situation, we issued review instructions and indeed, there were several irregularities such as that the employees also do not have the food use license issued by Municipal Health,” he said. .

Contreras Bringas said that there are even irregularities with the land use of the establishments.

He also said that they will continue with the operations and that more businesses belonging to this commercial chain have been detected.
