So far in 2019 in the South of the State has registered 852 people who suffered from the bite of a scorpion, reported the epidemiologist of the Sanitary Jurisdiction Number 6, Jesus Reyes Reyes.

The doctor explained that, according to statistics, during the months of August and September the cases begin to rebound.

He also pointed out that the average number of attacks per week is 10 cases.

Reyes Reyes commented that Mazatlán is the municipality that has reported the most patients stung.

“Mazatlan is the one that has more incidents, something contrary to last year we had more in the municipality of Escuinapa, but until now we are waiting, maybe it will increase a little more,” he said.
