Scholarship for Mexican professionals for specialized studies in the US available

The selected ones will be able to make a working stay in a US organization for 10 months while attending courses, seminars, workshops, and conferences.

The Fulbright-García Robles scholarship launched a support program for Mexicans who want to specialize with courses, seminars, workshops, and conferences taught in the United States, in disciplines such as Environment and Sustainability, Education, Public Health, Human Rights and Journalism. With this support, professionals can also make a working stay in an American Union organization for 10 months. Those selected can also take an intensive English course for up to nine months.

The beneficiaries of the Hubert H. Humphrey program obtain the expenses paid by plane, medical insurance, tuition from the university, help to buy books and a laptop, as well as a monthly payment, according to the cost of living of each place.

Applicants have until July 31 to register to travel in the summer of 2020.

REQUIREMENTS

Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any of the areas for which the scholarship applies.

Have at least 5 years of professional experience (verifiable).

Little or no experience in the United States.

To have participated in the public service to the community.

Have TOEFL scores of 500 points minimum for ITP or 61 points minimum for iBT

HOW TO REGISTER?

1. Fill out the application at: apply.iie.org/huberthhumphrey .

2. Attach the bachelor’s and master’s degree, as well as the TOEFL test results.

3. Presents two letters of recommendation in English, one from an employer and the other academic or professional.
