Mexico.- The leader of the workers of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), Carlos Romero Deschamps, threw himself to the floor during the detention of lawyer Juan Collado on Tuesday, July 9 at a restaurant in Las Lomas de Chapultepec, because he thought that the agents ministerial went by him.
According to the website Sin Embargo, the general secretary of the Oil Workers Union of the Mexican Republic (STPRM) was in the company of Collado Mocelo at the time of his arrest.
Romero Deschamps not only witnessed the irruption in Morton’s restaurant of the agents of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), but he decided to throw himself on the floor for supposing that they were really looking for his arrest and not that of his lawyer and friend.

The property was sold by Real Estate Operator of Centro to Caja Libertad in a transaction higher than 156 million pesos, of which 24 million represented a direct gain for the now imputed.
Caja Libertad would have been used to launder money from various property purchase and sale operations. Juan Collado resigned from the presidency of that institution a day after his arrest.
