The authorities recommend using alternate routes
Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- As of 12:00 on this Friday, Angel Flores and Cinco de Mayo streets of the city center will remain closed to traffic, due to the presentation of the Municipal Development Plan.
The event is scheduled for 6 pm on Friday at the esplanade of Plazuela República.
The coordinator of Civil Protection Eloy Ruiz, reported that the closures will be made at the intersection of Benito Juárez and March 21, also on the street Guillermo Nelson and José María Canizales, this to ensure access to all attendees at the event.
It was reported that emergency services will be available in areas strategically placed around the Republic square, so that people feel safe.
This operation will involve 25 elements of the different groups responsible for providing security to the municipality.
There will also be 3 ambulances, a fire truck and light units.
On the other hand the commander of Transit Francisco War declared that they will not allow to park cars around the Republic square and that of its coordination 20 elements will participate, two patrols, a crane as well as four motorcycles for any eventuality that appears.
