Puerto Vallarta has been recognized as one of the most attractive Mexican destination all over the world. According to Secretaría de Turismo (SECTUR), from January to March 2019, it presented an increase of 2.6 percent of international arrivals by plane, in comparison with the same period in 2018.
SECTUR informed that more than 597 thousand visitors arrive to this destination by plane, and thanks to it, the Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport is among the top on the list of Mexican airports with more international visitors.
Besides, the number of nautical arrivals has increased 23 percent compared with the first trimester of 2018, since more than 150 thousand visitors arrived by cruise in first three months of 2019.
Also, SECTUR Jalisco explained that most of our visitors are from North American and Canada, who usually stay from four to 11 days in Vallarta · Nayarit.
