José Estaban, who identifies himself as professor of the student Kenneth González, presumed the trip on his Facebook account.

The teacher thanked the municipality of Motozintla and local companies for their support so that the student could travel to Houston, Texas, in the United States.

According to El Universal, the young person from Chiapas would have received the invitation from NASA two years ago, however, the lack of resources prevented it.

Junior high school student Kenneth González from Motozintla, Chiapas, traveled to the Space Center University to be trained by NASA engineers in the U.S. for an entire week.

The mayor of Motozintla, Jorge Villatoro, paid for their travel expenses. Kenneth and his teacher, from the Juan Escutia 1030 school in Motozintla, have told local media that they would share the knowledge and experiences acquired with the rest of the school upon their return to the country.

Pictures circulating in social media show the Mexican student with his “Mam,” a traditional outfit of the region. Kenneth can also be seen participating in educational activities with students from other countries.
