Storm warnings for western, southern and southeastern Mexico

MEXICO.- Front number 61 will extend this weakened day over the northeast of the country, while tropical wave number 2 will be located south of the coasts of Oaxaca, both systems will combine with instability in the upper atmosphere, causing potential for storms in the west, south and southeast of Mexico.

According to the National Meteorological Service (SMN) the storms will be accompanied by electrical activity and possible hail, Notimex reports.

The organism detailed that this Wednesday foresees intense storms in Michoacán, Tabasco and Chiapas, and very strong storms in Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Jalisco, Durango, State of Mexico, Oaxaca, Guerrero, Puebla, Veracruz, and Campeche.

As well as strong storms in Nayarit, Colima, Guanajuato, Queretaro, Hidalgo, Morelos, Yucatan and Quintana Roo, and intervals of showers in Coahuila, Sinaloa, Zacatecas, Tlaxcala and Mexico City, and isolated rains in Chihuahua and Aguascalientes.

The precipitations could be with electrical activity and hail and will be caused by the Front Number 61 and the Tropical Wave Number 2, that will be located to the south of the coasts of Oaxaca, abounded the SMN.

On the other hand, winds with gusts exceeding 50 kilometers per hour (km / h) are forecast on the western coasts of the Baja California Peninsula, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Zacatecas, Durango, Nuevo Leon, San Luis Potosi and the Yucatan Peninsula.

As for temperatures, values ​​higher than 45 degrees Celsius are estimated, due to a high altitude anticyclone, in areas of Baja California, Sonora and Sinaloa, and from 40 to 45 degrees Celsius in Baja California Sur, Nayarit, Jalisco, Michoacán, Guerrero , Oaxaca and Yucatan.

As well as temperatures of 35 to 40 degrees Celsius in Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi, Colima, Chiapas, Veracruz, Morelos, Tabasco, Campeche and Quintana Roo.
