“Flavors of the Earth” will be exhibited at the Casa del Mezcal Museum June 6th in Durango

A wide range of paintings, sculptures, engravings and photographs will be exhibited by artists from Durango

Durango is an abundant city of customs and traditions but without a doubt, the process of distilling mezcal is one of the most important sources of our identity. Thus, inspired by this millenary drink, Durango artists from different disciplines have come together to present the collective exhibition “Flavors of the Earth”, composed of drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and photography. This art exhibition will take place at El Museo Casa del Mezcal, and will be inaugurated today, Thursday, June 6, at 6:00 p.m.

Lizeth Zúñiga, Jehu Giovanny Moreno Hernández, Jair Eduardo Campos Flores, Saúl A. García Melanie Elisa Pena Reinosa, Alonso Salinas Ríos, Marisol Santacruz Alvarado, Roberto Carlos Sosa, Juan Antonio Burciaga, Octavio Saldivar, Gerardo Rodríguez, Alejandra Anderson Díaz, Ricardo Luján , Juan de Dios Nájera, Ilse Trujillo, Vicente Alfredo Valles Gutiérrez, Prudence Monserrat Bermúdez Trejo and Ernesto García Morales, will be the protagonists of the afternoon.

Ruta Mezcal Durango

The name of this exhibition refers to this craft drink that involves a whole process to be delighted, and that will be shown by means of several techniques focused on the same objective, there will be 16 artists, sculptors, painters, engravers and photographers that will show different perspectives, where the agave and maguey will stand out.

Pueblo Viejo Oeste Durango

Durango will show its wide range of flavors and aromas through art and accompanied by great connoisseurs of it.
