Donald Trump now attacked the delegation led by Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard, to which President Andrés Manuel López Obrador sent, to talk with the White House on tariffs and migration. In his Twitter account, Trump expressed himself like that of the AMLO team :

It should be remembered that the tycoon threatened to impose a 5% tariff on all Mexican products and gradually raise it if the López Obrador government does not curb the flow of Central American migrants who cross their country illegally.
Before this, AMLO sent a delegation to Washington to negotiate with the Trump officials, a meeting is planned between Marcelo Ebrard, Secretary of Foreign Affairs; Mike Pompeo, Secretary of State of the United States; and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of the tycoon.
