Laura Amor, director of the nursing home of Mazatlan, carries out an intense work for the benefit of the elderly and yesterday morning organized a breakfast at the Hotel Royal Villas to raise funds, as older people have many needs in this retirement institution.
This event was scheduled for the attendance of 400 people and insisted on the need for support from the Mazatlan community and society, since there are many deficiencies in the home, such as food, the payment of basic services such as water and energy. electricity, administrative payments, to doctors and nurses.
Laura commented in the interview that the capacity of the home is for 30 elderly people and that they want to increase the space but the necessary resources are needed. There is a waiting list of for people of the third age.
She said that they will continue with these and other events to continue obtaining economic resources that alleviate the precarious situation of the nursing home.
