Through social networks, López Obrador shared a photograph where he appears with the representatives of the companies from Canada and France, as well as with some of the members of his cabinet, including the head of the Office of the President, Alfonso Romo .

Although the president did not share details about the meeting he had with the businessmen, he said that representatives of Bombardier and Safran expressed their desire to participate in the priority projects of López Obrador, mainly in those related to the aerospace and construction industry. of trains, thanks to the fact that both companies are recognized worldwide in these sectors.

Bombardier, a Canadian company, has remained one of the companies that have invested the most in Mexico in the subject of trains, thanks to the fact that it is in charge of supplying the railroads that are located in the west of the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco; In addition, in 2013, he participated in six tenders that President Enrique Peña Nieto made to provide material for the construction of the projects that the exmandatario had planned.

For his part, in the last year of the six-year PRI, the director of Grupo Safran , Phillippe Petitcolin, visited Enrique Peña Nieto to make a new commitment with the Mexican government: the creation of the company’s number twelve plant, for which the meeting with López Obrador could be focused on this topic.

The priority projects of AMLO in which the companies could participate would be the construction of the two tracks areas in the military base of Santa Lucia and the new line of railways that the president wants to implement to rehabilitate the trade through this means of transport.

However, it will be until tomorrow, during the press conference, when López Obrador shares information about the meeting with foreign businessmen, but reiterated that this visit represents the confidence that investors have in the country, reaffirming the commitment to increase foreign investment in Mexico.
