Los Mochis.- To celebrate the 24th anniversary of the Virgin Mary Queen of the Valley, the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe invites the general public to participate in this great celebration on May 30 at Cerro de la Memoria.
“The Eucharistic celebration will be at 6:00 p.m. and we will walk before the Eucharist starting at 5:00 p.m. in procession, praying the Holy Rosary. It is the largest demonstration that we want to be done in the whole history of pilgrimages here in the city of Los Mochis, “said Luis Manuel López Salazar.
The parish priest of the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, commented that the first stone of the Virgin Mary Queen of the Valley, was installed on May 30, 1992 by Bishop Benjamin Jiménez, and as parish priest of Our Lady of Fatima, Father Abel Garcia, along with a group of people led by Mrs. Lore de la vega, a heroine of faith and service within the church.

He explained that the Virgin of the Valley measures approximately 28 meters and is made of bronze. He said it is the fourth largest image of the Virgin in Latin America.
We have a beautiful icon that is watching the valley and every family, every home, from the peak of Cerro de la Memoria, “he said.
He added that they will celebrate this celebration with great joy and urged the citizens to live this day with much enthusiasm and fervor.
