Meanwhile, the president of the National Conference of Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Concanaco-Servytur), José Manuel López Campos, agreed that the railway project will change the flow of travelers moving through the Yucatan peninsula. It should be noted that hotel supply is increasing in the southeast of the country, where Xcaret invested 350 million dollars in a hotel in the Riviera Maya and, this year, Grupo Posadas will execute an investment of 100 million dollars.
