Sinaloa Governor crowns Ariadne I, queen of the Fiestas de Las Cabras

The governor, together with his wife Rosy Fuentes, attends this traditional event that was held 115 years ago.

Escuinapa, Sinaloa, May 19, 2019.- The Fiestas of Las Cabras de Escuinapa, is 115 years old and Quirino Ordaz Coppel became the first governor of Sinaloa to crown a sovereign, as was Ariadne I, in this traditional celebration.

The crowning of the queen, in the maximum party of Las Cabras, made the president before a crowd that came to this beach and in the company of his wife, Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz, as well as Mayor Emmett Soto Grave and Mrs. Liliana Canizalez.

Quirino Ordaz acknowledged the organization of this traditional celebration, which year after year brings together hundreds of tourists and inhabitants of this municipality, also known as the pearl shrimp, so he advanced that by 2020 they will again have the support of his government, as it happened in this edition that turned out to be very attractive and successful with the presentation of the singer Remmy Valenzuela.

“We are happy and happy to see so much joy and conviviality, as well as the enthusiasm of the people who are having a great time, we sponsored for the singer Remmy Valenzuela to come and give a higher level to the party, as was El Recodo, we are thinking for the year that comes in bringing a very good group, “he said.

In a meeting he held with the media, the state executive made the commitment to continue with the maintenance of the Escuinapa Teacapan highway.

Prior to the coronation ceremony, the state leader made a tour of the palapa area, where families enjoyed this celebration, with whom he talked and noted the joy of enjoying these traditional parties of the escuinapenses.

During this visit, Ordaz Coppel was accompanied by the coordinator of federal social programs in Sinaloa, José Jaime Montes Salas, and by the Secretary of Tourism in Sinaloa, Óscar Pérez Barros.
