Mazatlan, Sinaloa .- Until today we do not know the day or time that the new general hospital “Martiniano Carvajal” of Mazatlan will be delivered, which is 100% completed.

The Secretary of Health of the State, Efrén Encinas Torres, acknowledged, the progress of the hospital is great and they are only waiting for the crossing of the agendas of Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel and the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, so it can be inaugurated.

Precisely, he said, will be the availability of both leaders to define a new delivery date, as the last was for the months of April or May.

Before the medical building officially opens its facilities, he said, everything is planned for the transfer of patients who are currently in the old hospital.

The new general hospital, he recalled, has an investment of one billion pesos, which has 120 beds for patients in the municipalities of southern Sinaloa, which monthly serves about 750 thousand people.
