A Canadian woman who had been reported missing in El Paso was found slain in Juárez, according to news reports.
The body of Victoria Marsbergen, 21, had been found on April 30 inside the Colinas de Juárez cemetery.
She is also identified as Victoria Daniels on social media posts.

Marsbergen lived in El Paso and was reported missing to the El Paso Police Department on May 2, police spokesman Sgt. Robert Gomez said.
On May 1, a woman from Canada, who identified herself as Victoria Daniel’s mother, posted on Facebook that her daughter, last heard from in El Paso, was missing since April 29.
“Her phone is off. Her phone is her life and she will never let it just die or turn it off, especially this long. Tori as everyone knows her, has not shown up for work either.”
On the morning of April 30, the body of an unidentified woman had been found in the cemetery near the Juárez airport, reported the Chihuahua state prosecutors office that handles women’s murders.
The unidentified woman had been beaten in the face with a rock and died from head injuries, prosecutors reported. The woman had the word “Kylie” tattooed on her chest, “Aaron Mathew” inked on her right clavicle area and a heart stating “Aaron” inked on the middle finger of her left hand.
The body has been identified as Victoria Marsbergen, the Norte Digital and El Mexicano newspapers reported this week.
Mexican authorities have not officially disclosed a reason why Marsbergen may have been in Juárez.
A Canadian government travel advisory for Mexico urges its citizens to “exercise a high degree of caution” due to high crime levels. It also urges Canadian citizens to avoid non-essential travel to Chihuahua state due to violence.
There have been more than 500 homicides in Juárez this year.
