Sinaloa: Governor continues with the modernization of the historic center of Los Mochis

Los Mochis, Ahome, Sinaloa, May 2, 2019.- With the delivery made by Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel of the remodeling of Guillermo Prieto Street, in the city of Los Mochis, Zone 30, as this historic center, it was converted into a tourist attraction more, which will trigger the economic activity, with more sales for the two traditional markets of the place and the dozens of commercial premises installed in the place.

In the company of Ahome’s municipal president, Manuel Guillermo Chapman Moreno, and the secretary of Public Works, Osbaldo López Angulo, the state governor inaugurated this work, in which 17 million pesos were invested to beautify said road, between the boulevard Rosendo G Castro and Álvaro Obregón Avenue, works that included placement of stamped concrete, a bike path, benches, trash cans, and extension of the sidewalks equipped with blind and weak visual guides.


Ordaz Coppel announced that it will continue with the beautification of Zone 30, to change the urban face to the city of Los Mochis, since this transformation will bring more sales for the commerce sector as well as becoming a tourist attraction. “We have to continue with another street, we will not stop betting and put the historic center of Los Mochis here,” he reiterated.

On the other hand, the governor gave a quick response to the request made by Mayor Chapman Moreno, consisting of building a primary school in the Siglo XXI neighborhood, located on the outskirts of the city, with a high degree of marginalization. 
As for the other work in progress in Los Mochis, the state leader asked for the understanding of citizenship for the inconvenience that will generate the rehabilitation of three rainwater drainage collectors that have just started, it will be necessary to open the streets to place the new pipeline, but said that it should be seen forwards and the benefit that these jobs represent, since the streets will no longer flood in the rainy season.


He added that similar work will be carried out in the Ahome syndicates, since a 100 million peso bag was assembled for the construction or rehabilitation of the rain collectors. 
For his part, the municipal president, Manuel Guillermo Chapman Moreno, thanked the governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel for the delivery of this street Guillermo Prieto, which he described as a marvel, because in his opinion it was beautiful.

“That is precisely what we Mochitans, to works that truly have an impact on all matters, is a fine work, a model, an example of what we want to continue building in the urban area of ​​the city of Los Mochis “He concluded. 
When making use of the voice, the Secretary of Public Works, Osbaldo López Angulo, said that this work is in addition to others that have already been done in Zone 30, and that was designed with a safety guideline, both for the pedestrians as for bicycle users, having a bike path. Similarly, guides for blind people were placed on their sidewalks.

In his message, the Secretary of Economy of the City of Ahome, Omar Cabrera Durán, stressed that the direct benefit is for 40 tenants and several medical consultants. 

“I think the tenants were eager for this work to open, we are very happy with our governor, for betting on this type of investment,” he said. 
He also accompanied the Governor of the State, the Secretary of Administration and Finance, Carlos Ortega Carricarte.
