When making a visit to what is considered the largest and most luxurious of the Princess cruises, Pérez Barros presented a plaque of recognition to Captain Tony Draper, for his arrival at this port; He was accompanied by Jorge Gónzalez Olivieri, director of the Port Administration Integral (API), Luis Terán, representative of Mayor Guillermo Benítez, Miguel Ramírez and Alfonso Gil, of Special Projects of the Sectur.
The Tourism Secretary said he was very happy to see this type of luxury cruise ship arrive at the port, and visitors who have come more than once say that they notice the change in the tourist offer before and after the Tianguis Turístico Mazatlán 2018, . For this year, the arrival of 136 tourist boats is scheduled.

The Royal Princess arrived around 07:00 hours from Cabo San Lucas, with 3,540 passengers and 1,367 crew members and will continue its maritime journey at 6:00 pm to Puerto Vallarta.
The cruise passengers who descended took advantage of trips to the different tourist sites of the city, as well as visiting the communities of La Noria, El Quelite as well as Copala and Concordia, where they generated an important economic benefit.
With the Royal Princess, there are 57 tourist cruises that enter this city, with more than 223 thousand passengers on board.
