148 Cuban illegals deported from Mexico

The National Institute of Migration indicated that the return was carried out in accordance with the legal procedures in force and in agreement with authorities of the government of Cuba.

The National Institute of Migration (INM) reported that 148 Cuban citizens who had an irregular stay condition in Mexico returned the day before to their country by air.

In his Twitter account @INAMI_mx he explained that the return was carried out in accordance with current legal procedures and in agreement with authorities of the government of Cuba.

In the same social network, the agency explained that elements of the Beta Group transferred a migrant woman and her son of Honduran nationality to receive medical attention in Mapastepec, Chiapas.

The minor was treated because he suffers from hydrocephalus, seizures and fever, however, both are out of danger, he added.
