Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Forty-five thousand people is the figure recorded by the Mazatlan Aquarium during the first week of this holiday season, and they still estimate that the number will surpass last year’s at the end of Easter, said Pablo Gerardo Rojas Zepeda.

Approximately four thousand people per day received the Mazatlan Aquarium, said the director of the site, and expect to close with an estimated 55 thousand, that is, a number greater than 2018, compared to the same holiday period of Easter.

“It went very well, it went very well, fortunately and thanks to the preference of all the tourists and locals who have visited us, there have been many people.”

The director of this center of attractions announced that although it decreased a bit the visit of tourists from the previous to the current week, there are still very good numbers there, having visits of 3 thousand 500 people during this Monday and 3 thousand 300 this Tuesday.

As for the shows, Rojas Zepeda reported that they had to increase the number of shows as well as the exhibitions.

He added that once the days of greatest influx pass, the medusa, a new attraction of Aquarius will be expanded, as well as a section of the botanical garden, in order to avoid obstructing the free passage of visitors.
