Mazatlan, Sinaloa .- There were tourists affected by breaches of contracts and reservations in some hotels, where of a total of six affected, two have managed to obtain a settlement and others are in follow-up; reported María Astrid Macías Fregoso.

The director of the Tourist Care and Protection Center ( Capta ) noted that in addition to these cases, there are three other cyber fraud, which detected that many of the phone numbers they provide in fake profiles on social networks have come from other states of the Republic, so this task was channeled to the Federal Police to open an investigation.

Jesús Eduardo Sainz Díaz, Operational Coordinator of CAPTA.

They can be from anywhere in the world and the Republic, tourists are recommended to make their complaints in their place of origin so they can track and be channeled, and report to the bank accounts where they usually make deposits, and that has a cyber fraud department, where those accounts are frozen, because they detect in the history if that account has already infringed before and they can recover their money.
