The unfortunate event occurs on the beach of Cerritos
Mazatlan, Sinaloa .- A swimmer died after being taken out of a marine current at the beach in Cerritos.
The deceased was identified as Sergio “N”, who was 62 years old and was originally from the city of Monterrey.
The unfortunate event occurred in the bathers area, which is located at the height of the Riu Hotel where the person was spotted in trouble in the sea.
The swimmer was quickly rescued and taken inland, where shortly after he was subjected to cardio-pulmonary breathing maneuvers, but died.
