Sinaloa: In two months they project construction of Altata hotels

Four investors have shown their projects for the area, informed the municipal president of Navolato

Culiacán, Sin.- Given the demand for hotel rooms, in Altata and on Cortes Island, some hotel infrastructure projects have already been projected, confirmed the mayor of Navolato, Eliazar Gutiérrez Angulo.

He mentioned that he has had talks with four businessmen interested in investing in the area, so it is expected that in approximately two months they are starting with the works although he said he did not know how many rooms would be being built.

“They are already being developed there in Isla Cortés and there in Altata there are some projects that will soon start, I think that in two months the works of that nature would start,” he said.

The first mayor commented that he only knows how much with a hotel that is insufficient during holiday seasons and during massive events, in such a way that many locals rent rooms and part of their homes to tourists.

Gutiérrez Angulo added that the municipality is willing to talk with entrepreneurs and give incentives for works and services, so that they invest and generate jobs for local people.
