This Thursday, within the facilities of the Embassy of Canada in Mexico, a meeting was held where the signing of the Technical Maintenance Agreement was agreed, with which Mexico will be able to provide maintenance to Canadian aircraft.

The official signing of the document, which has been in print for more than eight years, will take place during the first day of the Mexico Aerospace Fair (Famex).

The Directorate General of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) has registered 259 aeronautical workshops in Mexican territory, among which one of the best known is Mexicana MRO, which has permits to provide maintenance services to aircraft from 18 countries, including the Union. European

Transport Canada, the federal institution responsible for transport policies and programs, and the DGAC will be responsible for signing the agreement. It should be noted that the issue is driven by Famex itself through a committee headed by General Rodolfo Rodríguez Quezada, the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Safran company and Mexicana MRO.
