Concordia, El Rosario and Escuinapa participate with different dishes from their regions, handicrafts and works of art of regional artists shine during this weekend

Mazatlan, Sin.- The exhibition of art and cultures of southern Sinaloa “Trópico 2019” was inaugurated this Saturday in the port of Mazatlán.

Based in the Mazatlan Art Museum, the event concentrates the shows of Concordia, El Rosario and Escuinapa, where regional dishes, handicrafts and works of art by regional artists shine during this weekend.

The inaugural act was made by Papik Ramírez, general director of the Sinaloa Institute of Culture, and Cecilia Sánchez Duarte, delegate of Culture South Zone, as well as mayors of the area, where after they toured the stands and tasted regional dishes, where Emet Soto Grave, mayor of Escuinapa thanked this opportunity.

“On behalf of Escuinapa, Papik Ramírez and Cecilia Sánchez, and organizers of this South Tropic event, because the municipality participates today as an alternative of gastronomy and crafts; we have sought to make known to Escuinapa beyond the continent, “explained the mayor.

He added that when carrying out events of this nature, he pays for the tourist promotion of the municipality, such as coasts, mangroves, hills, beaches and distinguished cuisine.

Soto Grave invited those present to visit the municipality, because beyond the typical dishes of the region, the warmth of escuinapense is the added value to their products.

For his part, Papik Ramírez, general director of the ISIC, thanked the unconditional support of Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, for taking into account the artisan, artistic and gastronomic sample of the municipalities of the south of the State.

“Through the direction of the ISIC, we are making a joint and interdisciplinary effort, because we have artisan, artistic and gastronomic displays; the intention is that you know there is diversity in these three municipalities, “he said.
