Mazatlan mini carnival parade prepared for Semana Santa

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- With the intention of giving tourists a “taste” of what they are missing by not coming to the International Carnival of Mazatlan, next Saturday, April 20, at 6:30 p.m. Avenida del Mar a mini parade with eight allegorical cars and comparsas, starting from the Monument to the Fisherman, heading to Rafael Buelna, announced the mayor of Mazatlan, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres.

“Saturday is going to be a Carnival show, the eight luminous cars are going to parade so that people who do not have the opportunity to come to Carnival see a small sample of what it is (…) that they stay enthusiastic and decide to come to visit us, “he said.

That will not be all, because finishing the parade, visitors should move to Bahía Avenue where there will be a great concert with a surprise artist, which will be free.

“At the end of the parade we will have a great event on Bahia Avenue (…) it is a beautiful area that at night is very beautiful and we will have a free musical event for all visitors and Mazatlecos who want to attend”, explained .

It is expected that the road closes start at 4:00 pm, and as the parade progresses, it will be opened. At the time of the concert, Bahia Avenue will be closed in its entirety, informed the mayor.

It is worth noting that as a guest artist the singer Pancho Barraza was sought, but he declined the invitation because he argued that these are days dedicated to his family.
