This afternoon and evening, coldfront #46 will slowly move over the northern and northeastern border states of Mexico and, in combination with the humidity of the Pacific Ocean, will cause wind gusts of 60 km / h with possible formation of whirlwinds in Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.

In turn, a mass of cold air in the Gulf of Mexico and a trough in the hinterland generate very strong individual storms with electrical activity and hailstones in Puebla and Veracruz; Strong storms in Coahuila, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi, Oaxaca and Chiapas and intervals of showers in Nuevo Leon, Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Mexico City, Tlaxcala, Guerrero and Tabasco. Likewise, dense low fog banks will persist in mountainous areas of the northeast, east and southeast of the country, as well as north wind in the Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec.

For this Saturday, the cold front 46 will  continue over northeastern Mexico and is expected to interact with a dry line in that region, causing wind gusts of 50 km / h in the Mesa del Norte states. On the other hand, a new cold front of short duration will extend very close to the Baja California Peninsula generating gusts of wind of up to 50 km / h on the peninsula. In the rest of the country, warm weather and low rain potential are expected.
