The air connectivity of the city has also been an important point for the reception of national and international travelers, the International Airport of Mazatlan has direct connection to destinations such as Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco, Minneapolis, United States ; Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver in Canada; and Guadalajara, Mexico City, Tijuana, Monterrey in Mexico, among others.
Mazatlan is the door of the Northern Economic Corridor . With the opening of theMazatlan-Durango highway, the port of Mazatlan has become the beach destination preferred by the inhabitants of the states of Durango, Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Zacatecas, Chihuahua, Tamaulipas and Nayarit. Traveling on this highway is one of the most pleasant experiences since you walk the highest cable-stayed bridge in the world, which has a Guinness Record, right in the middle of the mountains.
