Mazatlan, Sin.- The Sister Cities Park will be the new venue for the Gastronomic Festival of the Mazatlan International Carnival 2019 “Equinox. The Rebirth of the Senses “.
It will be mounted from March 3 to 5 carnival with more than 20 participating restaurants, with service from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and with the support of the proceeds for the benefit of Patronato de El Faro and Parque Ciudades Hermanas and for the DIF System Municipal its new headquarters on Paseo Claussen after many seasons that remained in the Plazuela Machado.
At a press conference, the event that seeks to rescue this event was announced, giving it a new mission to promote tourism.
They spoke in front of the mass media Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, the Mayor; David González Torrentera, Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism and Municipal Fisheries; Óscar Palacios Gómez, chef; Julian Portugal; María Esther Juárez, President of the Parque Nuevo Faro Mazatlán Board; Javier Hidalgo, President of the Parque Ciudades Hermanas and Trinidad Osuna Board of Trustees, of the Tourism Secretariat of Sinaloa.
Alfredo Gómez Rubio, representative of the Historical Center Association, said that he was in agreement, that restaurateurs of that area participate in the Gastronomic Exhibition and that the Plazuela Machado will continue with its normal activity and events.
The Mayor pledged his full support to the event and trusted that the next one will be the best Carnival in history.
The symbolic inauguration will be on February 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the framework of other Carnival and Culture events in the place, but it will run fully from March 3 to 5.
In this way, it was declared, a new option and place of stay is opened during the Carnival for different tastes and accessible prices.
Access to the Gastronomic Exhibition will be free.
