Federal and local legislators from the state of Colima carry out a work tour through the port, to take up success stories that they can replicate in their entity.
Mazatlán.- In order to know in depth the process of remodeling, conservation and promotion of the Historical Center of Mazatlan, to replicate it in Manzanillo, Colima; legislators and popular representatives of that entity arrived at the port, where they held a meeting with businessmen and authorities headed by the Municipal President, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres.
The federal Deputy, Claudia Yáñez Centeno, secretary of the Hydraulic Resources Commission and member of the Fishing Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, led the visiting delegation, whose main objective is to gather the necessary information about the work that the Mazatlan authorities have carried out in places of greatest tourist interest, as well as economic promotion and attraction of investments to the destination.
The legislators and popular representatives of Colima visited the Historic Center and the coastal promenade. They got to know the regional gastronomy and the tourist circuits project promoted by the present municipal administration, which starts a completely new way, in search of Mazatlan, which is already considered example of growth at national level, retake a privileged place in the tourism industry.
