Did you go to Mocorito this weekend and take pictures in the fields of sunflowers? Maybe not, but there were hundreds of people (maybe thousands, we’ll never know) who filled social networks with photos of this site.
And why was the influx of visitors to this special area? Well, it’s the beginning of the sunflower season, which is part of the grinding season that starts in December.
Sunflowers can be seen for a month and this time the Mocorito Tourism Directorate made a strong propaganda for families from all over the state to visit the Magic Town and spend a good weekend.
The sunflower season also coincides with the Carnival festivities, which is just around the corner.
