Cruise ship Magellan arrives in Mazatlan for the first time

Mazatlan, Sin., February 06, 2019.- For the first time, the tourist cruise Magellan arrived in Mazatlan, with 527 passengers and the same number of crew members. In addition, 70 more people will board the cruise ship in Mazatlan. on the way to Puerto Vallarta.

It is also the first time passengers will embark in this port.

On behalf of Secretary of Tourism Óscar Pérez Barros, the Director of Special Projects of the Sectur, Alfonso Gil Díaz, delivered a commemorative plaque to the Captain of the Magellan, Valentín Zhukov, for his first arrival in this city. He was accompanied by the Director of the Integral Port Administration (API) Jorge González Olivieri, and Iván Pico, of the municipal tourism management, among others.

Your arrival was at 09:30 hours approximately from Cabo San Lucas and will sail at 18:00 hours, according to your itinerary.

The tourists who descended took advantage to make different tours of the city, visiting the main sites of tourist interest such as El Faro, El Malecón, the Historical Center, the Dordada Zone, among others, as well as El Quelite, La Noria, Copala and Concordia , among other places, where they tasted its exquisite cuisine.

The Magellan is the cruise ship number 19 that visits Mazatlan so far this year, with more than 71 thousand visitors so far.
