The price of the dollar on January 31, 2019 is a maximum of 19.30 pesos in exchange offices of the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM).
The price of the dollar in Mexico is up to 19.58 pesos in banks, as is the case of Bancomer. Meanwhile, Citibanamex sells the US currency at 19.40 pesos and Banorte sells at 19.30 pesos.
In exchange houses of the International Airport of Mexico City ( AICM ), the dollar is sold at a maximum of 19.30 pesos and purchased at a minimum of 17.80 pesos.
The Mexican peso rises from its lowest level in more than a week to a weakening of the dollar, after the US Federal Reserve offered signs that it would have ended its cycle of monetary tightening.
The interbank exchange rate stands at 18.99 pesos per dollar, with a gain of 0.66 percent, or 12.60 cents.
“The peso starts the session with an appreciation (…) due to a general weakening of the US dollar against its main crosses, after yesterday the Federal Reserve decided to keep its interest rate unchanged and adopted a more accommodating language” , Banco Base said in a report.
