Ricardo Monreal, Morena’s coordinator in the Senate, said this afternoon that his party will seek consensus among parliamentary groups to “be accompanied.” And he mentioned the possibility of decriminalizing the use of marijuana in this period of sessions, which begins on February 1 and ends on April 30.

“We are looking for all the parliamentary groups in the whole agenda, to see where we can be accompanied. There is an attitude of openness on the part of Morena to build the agreements, “said the Senator.

Recall that in November of last year, a total of four bills to regulate cannabis were presented before the Senate. You are in the name of the parties Morena, PRD, Movimiento Ciudadano and PRI.

Now, it is the turn of the Health and Safety commissions to elaborate their observations regarding the initiatives.

“This is an agenda that is pending and that the initiatives in the commissions are entered, but it is not the only one. It will be used, “said Monreal.
