The coordinator of the tourism office of the municipality, Azucena Núñez gave the details of the event to be held on February 2 and 3 on the beaches of Celestino Gasca
Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The beaches of Celestino Gasca will serve as a stage for locals and tourists from Mazatlan, Culiacán and surrounding places to learn about the different varieties that the third edition of Expo Expo del Ostión 2019 will offer.
Azucena Núñez, coordinator of the Tourism Office of the municipality of Elota, explained that the event will be free and inside it they will be able to meet a variety of dishes made with the exotic mollusk, combined with live music with several groups alternating and activities such as rides or 4 × 4 routes.
“The main objective is to go and taste the richest oyster in the world, it has absolutely no cost, both big and small are invited, last year around three thousand tourists were received”.
Beach volleyball, gastronomic shows, cultural dances, pyrotechnics and the presence of Memo García, an imitator of artists, as well as competitions such as the most exotic dish, the most delicious and the most traditional, made with oyster, to which the record-breaking an oyster or whoever presents the largest.
The third edition of Expo Expo del Ostión 2019 will take place on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 February at the beaches of Celestino Gasca.
