The Secretary of Tourism in the entity commented that, Le Tour France will give a great international projection to Baja California Sur, within the global markets
La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS). The head of the Ministry of Tourism, Economy and Sustainability(Setues), Luis Araiza Lopez announced that, La Paz will host the stage “La Paz” by Le Tour de France 2019 , which will leave an economic benefit of 35.4 million pesos , both for the restaurant industry and for local commerce.
In this regard, he explained that Le Tour de France is one of the most important sporting events in the world and will host one of its stages in the state capital on March 30 and 31.
The official said that the participants will be able to enjoy the natural beauties, gastronomy and eco-tourism activities such as the sighting of the Whale Shark or the swimming with Sea Lions, during their stay.
Also Araiza López mentioned that Le Tour France will give you a great international Baja California Sur, in global markets, consolidating the state as a destination of high level, and the best place to vacation.
Finally, he recalled that the project was carried out in collaboration with the Association of Hotel and Tourism Companies of La Paz AC (Emprhotur).
