In the framework of FITUR, Governor Quirino Ordaz held a working meeting with Eduardo Carranza and Germán Hijón Ballesteros , directors of Marketing and Products of America of TUI Spain, the largest tour operator in the world with strategic partnerships with the RIU Group of Spain and Sunwing of Canada.

Quirino Ordaz raised with them, together with Tourism Secretary Óscar Pérez Barros, that this year they could offer an alternative for Sinaloa, and particularly for Mazatlán, with an air connection so that more vacationers can arrive at the port on new routes and enjoy this destination , to which TUI Spain sees great advantages for the transformation it has experienced after the Tourism Tianguis.

With TUI Spain, Quirino Ordaz agreed that this company will integrate and present a plan for the development of new business in the short and medium term.

By participating in the opening of the Mexican pavilion at the formal opening of the International Tourism Fair in MadridGovernor Quirino Ordaz Coppel stressed that FITUR is a great opportunity to meet with agents, tourism promoters and companies from around the world to bring more investment to destinations, in this case, Sinalo.

The 2019 edition of the FITUR brings together about 900 exhibitors and 10,500 companies from 165 countries and regions of the world according to figures from their organization, which makes it an extraordinary showcase to promote all kinds of tourist destinations, share experiences and make business appointments in the industry to encourage the sector.

Quirino Ordaz Coppel accompanied the Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco, to cut the inaugural cord of the pavilion of Mexico, where Sinaloa was present with the promotion of its tourist offers and a culinary show, which was successful.

Governor Quirino Ordaz considered FITUR as a good meeting space, to seek and make meetings, business, moorings, precisely to bring more investment to the different tourist destinations of Sinaloa.
