The flow of vehicles on the road increased.
Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The exodus of vacationers saturated the roads of buses or private vehicles with visitors returning to their places of origin.
The traffic flow occurred in the early hours of Sunday and increased in the afternoon.
To the south and north, motorists were heading after enjoying their vacations in this beach destination.
Among the units that passed through the toll booth in Marmol was the van where the governor of the state, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, was traveling. He was going to the capital of the state to preside over the celebration of the Day of Kings, next to the president of DIF Sinaloa.
The president dropped a few seconds of his car just to greet elements of the Federal Police. They recognized the work they do on the roads so that visitors can walk smoothly and return safely to their places of origin.
It was also possible to appreciate the countrymen returning to the neighboring country after being in their land to celebrate the Christmas and New Year celebrations. Whether in caravans or alone, families crossed Mazatlan to be at their destination the first hours of this day.
They assured that their journey has been without problems, except for the lack of maintenance in some road sections. Also, the high cost of the toll booths, especially in sections that include Nayarit, part of Sinaloa and Durango.
Hoteliers on Avenida Del Mar say they were almost 100 percent during the entire holiday season. While most establishments in the Golden Zone maintained an occupation between 95 and 90 percent, with the exception of Playas, El Cid, and Pueblo Bonito, which were filled.
Tourists came and went for much of the day. Although some were leaving, trucks arrived with visitors to stay at least three days.
Although a large part of the visitors from Durango, Zacatecas, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, and Chihuahua left, groups arrived from the south of the country.
This allowed the beaches to continue to be full of bathers. Also, dozens of tourists toured the boardwalk and took the photo of the memory in the letters of Mazatlan.
