Mazatlan: This Sunday begins the Season 2019 of the Camerata Gordon Campbell

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.-  For the ninth consecutive year, the 2019 season of the Campbell Camerata begins this Sunday to endorse the solid bond it has built through music with the communities of the United States and Canada, based in the port, and to continue strengthening its relationship with the Mexican public.

At 12:00 noon, at the Angela Peralta Theater, the show “The Big Bang without the theory” will allow the Buenos Aires public to meet some of the most important young talents in Mexico, and on this occasion the Trommer Percussion group Ensemble, an exceptional group of Sinaloan percussionists, will offer a wide repertoire that goes from classical to contemporary.

The Season 2019 of the Camerata Campbell continues on January 13 with the presentation of “The Messiah” by Georg Friedrich Händel, with the participation of the Choir of the Community of Culiacán. The “Mexican Romantic Music” will arrive at the TAP on January 20 with the participation of the Ventura Quartet, while the blues soul of “The Internationally Acclaimed Corky Siegel and his Chamber Blues Ensemble” will put the audience to applaud and dance on January 27.

“The fourth symphony” by Gustav Mahler, a work of great spiritual wealth, will be presented on February 3, and on Sunday 10 a selection of “The best of Beethoven” will arrive at Casa Haas in a double program. “Gordon’s String Favorites”, a selection of authors such as Barber and Grieg, will be presented on February 17, and the closing season will be with “The trout”, by Franz Schubert, one of the most cheerful works in the repertoire Classic, on February 24.

All concerts of the 2019 Gordon Campbell Season will be held at the Angela Peralta Theater at 12:00 hours, with the exception of “The Best of Beethoven”, which will be presented at Casa Haas at 12:00 and 17:00.

Tickets for the concerts are priced at 350 pesos (orchestra, first and second balcony) and 50 pesos (third balcony). They can be obtained at the Angela Peralta Theater box office.
